STYLE REPORT: Mule Day 2018

So any of my readers that are outside of the southern middle Tennessee area, this may be a post for you to pass over on this Easter Sunday. (See what I did there? *insert smirk emoji here) For the rest of you, put on your boots, grab your saddle, and we'll take a ride into the world Mule Day fashions.  Now obviously, I can't speak for every female in Maury County, but for my friends and I, picking out the perfect outfit for Mule Day has been even more important than finding an Easter dress. We always start thinking about our wardrobe options. This includes at least one of each for warm weather, cold weather, rainy weather, or scorching hot weather since Mother Nature tends to be pretty maniacal during mule week. When it comes to finding the perfect new threads for celebration of mules, the most important factors for me in MD attire are comfort, being on trend and versatility (which usually comes in the form of layers.) I want to feel cute, but knowing that you'll probably be doing a lot of walking and standing, comfort is a MUST. The morning of the parade usually starts early which means cooler temps, but often times by lunch, you're sweating bullets or dodging rain drops. This is where that versatility factor comes in.

When it comes to my job outside of blogging, one of the biggest (and most favorite!) parts of my job is styling wardrobe for various occasions and building personal closets with some really amazing men and women. Why not combine two of my favorite things: my beloved Mule Day and fashion + trend spotting? Time to shine a spotlight on Mule Day trends for 2018. I've complied a couple moodboards of a few different looks that will have you feeling like the Mule Day Queen herself! Check it out below and let me know which one is your favorite! Feeling inspired? Post a photo of your jbbeauty-inspired look and use the hashtag #JillBrooksBeautyStyle - I'll share my favorites with my readers and viewers, and one lucky poster will receive a FREE 30-min wardrobe consultation with me! And that's it, all you have to do is post + tag! *Accepting entries through Sunday, April 8th at 11:59pm - Winner will be announced Monday, April 9th at noon.*
